Không giống như Stand by Me Doraemon khiến khán giả thổn thức với cảnh chia ly của Nobita và Doraemon, phần tiếp theo này kể về cuộc đời của một cậu bé Nobita trưởng thành trong tương lai sẽ kết hôn với Shizuka.
